About Ross
Hi, I’m Ross, and I’ve spent years working in the ECO (Energy Company Obligation) sector, helping to improve energy efficiency in homes across the UK. My experience includes retrofit assessments, coordination, and energy-saving solutions like insulation, heat pumps, and renewables.
To deepen my understanding of the industry, I’ve completed several key qualifications, including the Heat Geek Mastery course, which focuses on heat pump design and energy-efficient heating systems. I’m also trained in retrofit assessment and coordination, giving me the expertise to ensure homes meet the latest efficiency standards.
Through my work, I’ve seen first-hand how the right energy-saving measures can make homes warmer, reduce energy bills, and cut carbon emissions. Whether it’s ECO4 funding, system design, or expert advice, I’m here to help make energy efficiency simple and accessible.

About Danny
Daniel began his career in the UK with a background in electrical, which led him to work on major projects for the US military across the globe. These early experiences shaped his practical, problem-solving mindset and gave him a strong foundation in systems thinking.
After several years abroad, he transitioned into marketing and business operations, eventually settling in Southeast Asia. There, he’s spent the past decade helping companies grow through data-driven marketing, operational improvements, and digital innovation.
Energy Slug was born from a long-standing friendship and professional partnership with Ross, whom Daniel has known for over 25 years. Together, they combine deep trust, complementary skills, and a shared commitment to delivering real results for clients.
